Totally slipped my mind that today is Saturday, so here I was doing my routine Friday must-dos and took a break to bake some cookies. As JRoc and I were enjoying this little break, I received a text asking what time I’ll be leaving for an event I committed going to tonight.
Oops! Well, before I go and begin putting myself together, let me tell you… these cookies are DIVINE! If dark chocolate, peanut butter, and bacon, had a kid together, this is what you’ll get. And it’s really quick and easy to make too… #bonus!
So what do you get when you add this… | to this? |
The answer is:
Ingredients
- 1 Cup SKIPPY Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 Egg
- 4 slices of HORMEL Black Label Bacon cooked to a crip and crumbled into fine bits
(Optional) I added the following ingredients to to make the cookies a little lighter by adding
- 1 Tsp Baking Powder
- Pinch of salt
- 1 Tsp Baking Powder
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 F
- Combine the peanut butter, sugar and egg (baking powder & salt if you choose). Mix until smooth.
- Add the chopped bacon and mix to incorporate.
- Roll mixture into 1 inch (walnut sized) balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten each ball with a fork.
- Bake at 350 F for about 10 minutes.
- Cool for 5-7 minutes then place on wire rack.
- Enjoy!
