Microwave Matcha Green Tea and White Chocolate Chip Cookie for One!

  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 15 white chocolate chips
  • 3 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp granulated white sugar
  • 1 tbsp egg whisked
  • 1/4 tsp matcha powder I used Maeda-En culinary quality


  • Line a large round microwave-safe plate with parchment paper.
  • Combine all ingredients in a small bowl until smooth batter forms.
  • Scoop out batter into middle of plate to form a round cookie shape.
  • Smooth surface with spoon or spatula if needed.
  • Cook in microwave for about 50 seconds.
  • Let cookie cool before eating.
