It’s hot and HUMID in Vegas (what happened to the “dry heat” everyone used to talk about?)… and with all the college prep running around we’ve been doing since J’s graduation, you know what we’ve been DEVOURING to keep ourselves cool and hydrated?
Sweet and juicy watermelon! Sliced… frozen in balls… and now yummy & refreshing slushies!
Only ONE ingredient used here… I’ve seen recipes with lemon, maple syrup, and even water… but our tastebuds say watermelon on its own is perfection!
- Watermelon, cut into chunks.
Freeze watermelon chunks for 1-2 hours
Add frozen watermelon into blender until it reaches slushie consistency
Pour into chilled glasses and serve!
